The eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) — which range from halving extreme poverty to halting the spread of HIV/AIDS and providing universal primary education, all by the target date of 2015 — form a blueprint agreed to by all the world’s countries and all the world’s leading development institutions.
- Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
- Achieve universal primary education
- Promote gender equality and empower women
- Reduce child mortality
- Improve maternal health
- Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases
- Ensure environmental sustainability
- Develop a global partnership for development
See how we’re doing with respect to these goals.

Thanks for the Development, they look comprehensive and trying to treat development from all aspects, however, the time bound provided is unrealistic thus making the all plan ambigous,Zimbabwe is out to achieve any with the real collapse of the state apparatuses and systems, no schools, health facilities are down and the rest, worst the sanctions applied by the EU seems not to realise that it shall make things more worst for the local and poor individuals who can’t earn a dollar in a day, achieving the MDG in Zimbabwe is like blinking to a beautiful lady in a dark room
